Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Kristin Quintano, LCSW

Kristin Quintano, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 20 years of experience working in school-based and community settings, supporting children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families. She has a particular passion for working with teens and emerging adults and is known for her calm, steady, and confident presence, especially during times of stress or transition.

Kristin earned her Master’s degree from the Columbia University School of Social Work and completed advanced post-master’s clinical training through NYU Silver School of Social Work’s Advanced Clinical Practice Certificate Program. She currently works as a middle school social worker and has extensive experience in both middle and high school settings, including school-based counseling, substance use prevention, and crisis support. This background gives her a deep understanding of the academic, social, emotional, and developmental challenges facing adolescents and their families.

Kristin’s approach is intentional, warm, and down-to-earth. She works collaboratively with parents and teens to create a supportive and safe therapeutic environment, helping families navigate concerns such as anxiety, school stress, emotional regulation, relationships, and life transitions. Grounded in evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT-informed skills, and mindfulness, Kristin takes a holistic, whole-person approach and integrates principles of mindfulness and body-based awareness, informed by her training as a yoga teacher.
