Getting Started

No family is the same as any other. We can’t wait to meet you and tailor a treatment plan just for you.

At Clear Mind, we believe that growth can happen throughout every season of life. Our work supports meaningful change, whether you are five or fifty.

Children Ages 5-12

Children are remarkable – they are taking developmental leaps every season! But not all children develop at the same time, and some children have specific cognitive or behavioral issues that seem to require superhuman parenting and extra support. We help children with attention and hyperactivity difficulties, impulsivity, mood and anxiety, OCD, neurodivergent learning styles, family stress and trauma, and a wide range of behavioral problems.

What to Expect

Introduction

The first step is a quick call with our assistant who will help you schedule a free 15 minute phone call with one of our clinicians.

Get To Know Us

Second, you will be assigned a therapist that we believe will be a good fit. We take into account your preferences in this process.

Let’s Dive In

Third, you meet with your new therapist for one or two hour long sessions as a formal intake to gather the most important information about you and the reasons why you contacted us.

Deeper Connection & Goal Setting

Fourth, the first several sessions are an important time for you and your therapist to get to know each other and build trust. Its also important at this time for you and your therapist to agree upon goals and to come up with a plan of action for you to achieve those goals.

The Work

As your life continues to evolve, your therapist will be there to hear about your day-to-day challenges, while reminding you of your goals and teaching you skills to try in between sessions. You will go over these skills, reinforce them, and learn new ones.

Goodbyes Are Important Too

Finally, you and your therapist will decide on the most beneficial time to end treatment. Endings can be uncomfortable, and we need to do them all the time. You and your therapist will make sure to review your progress and talk about a timeline that makes sense for you.
