Groups

Connect, share, and grow in a supportive community. Our therapy groups help kids, teens, parents, and adults build skills, gain understanding, and take meaningful steps toward healing and resilience.

You don’t have to face challenges alone. Our therapy groups offer a safe, supportive space to learn, share, and grow alongside others who understand what you’re going through.

Therapy groups foster connection, shared experiences, and practical skills in a supportive community setting. Sometimes simply knowing that you are not alone can make a huge difference in your sense of well being and your capacity to weather the challenges.

“Kids of Divorce Program” for children and parents

Divorce is not easy on anyone. As parents deal with their own emotional upheaval while trying to figure out the “new normal” kids typically feel bewildered and confused. And it’s not like homework stops, peers stop being mean or demands get easier while the family settles down. This group combines a curriculum for both kids and a parent while also providing a safe space to share feelings, reactions and questions.

Wednesdays at 6:30 pm (in person)

Social Opportunities –

Middle School and High School can be challenging for anyone and if a pre-teen or teen is struggling socially then families often do not know where to turn. We give kids opportunities to connect with peers and gain support through games, projects and just hanging out.

Fridays at 5:30 pm (in person)

Parents of Kids with Big Emotions –

A 9-week curriculum that uses DBT, CBT, ACT and Behavior Management to help parents become more skillful in handling their own and their children’s big feelings.

Tuesdays from 11 am to 12:15 pm (virtual)

SPACE Parenting Group –

Developed by Dr. Eli Liebowitz at the Yale Child Study Center, this parent-based training program focuses on reducing the ways in which parents accommodate their children’s anxiety. Parents develop a supportive yet structured approach to their child’s fears without the child requiring therapy. The group also becomes a non-judgemental space for parents to share experiences.

Thursdays from 11 am to 12:15 pm (virtual)

Finding Your Way Forward: A Trauma Recovery Group

Life can leave marks that aren’t always visible — and carrying them alone is exhausting. This group is for adults who’ve been through hard things and are ready to start feeling more like themselves again.

In a small, confidential setting, you’ll connect with others who get it. Together, we use approaches that are proven to actually work — like learning to recognize how stress and trauma live in the body (somatic awareness), building tools to stay grounded when emotions feel overwhelming (a core part of DBT, or Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and gently reshaping the stories we tell ourselves about what happened (drawing from CBT and narrative therapy). For those interested, we also incorporate EMDR-informed techniques, which help the brain process painful memories so they lose their grip.

This isn’t about rehashing the past for the sake of it. It’s about building a life that feels safe, meaningful, and yours.

You don’t have to have it figured out to show up. You just have to show up.

Tuesdays 11:30 (in person)
