Meet Merav

Sr. Psychologist, Neuropsychology Specialist

Merav Hasler, Psy.D.

Dr. Merav Hasler is a licensed psychologist specializing in comprehensive psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessment for children and adolescents. With over a decade of experience serving families across the New York Tri-state area, she is particularly skilled in identifying the underlying factors contributing to learning differences, attention and executive functioning challenges, autism spectrum presentations, emotional difficulties, and complex developmental profiles.

Dr. Hasler earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and completed both her master’s and doctoral training at St. John’s University in Queens, NY. Her clinical training emphasized evidence-based assessment and intervention across school, medical, and community settings.

She conducts thorough, individualized evaluations that integrate cognitive, academic, language, executive functioning, social-emotional, behavioral, and adaptive functioning data to generate clear diagnostic formulations and practical recommendations. Her reports are known for being comprehensive, accessible, and highly actionable—designed to guide treatment planning, inform IEP and 504 planning, and support families in advocating effectively within school systems.

Drawing on her experience as a former school psychologist at Scarsdale Middle School, Dr. Hasler brings an in-depth understanding of educational policy, classification processes, and special education services. She collaborates closely with parents, educators, and related service providers to ensure that evaluation findings translate into meaningful support and measurable outcomes.

In addition to assessment, Dr. Hasler has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), and Parent Management Training (PMT), which allows her to provide integrated recommendations that bridge diagnostic clarity with intervention planning.

Dr. Hasler is fluent in Hebrew and provides bilingual services to ensure culturally responsive care. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys traveling, practicing Pilates, and spending time with her children and family.
